Yes – there are restrictions. Dumpsters are for non-hazardous solid waste only. Waste that is liquid, or any waste that is or contains, radioactive, volatile, corrosive, highly flammable, explosive, biomedical, biohazardous, infectious, toxic, and/or any hazardous wastes or substances is strictly prohibited. Examples of prohibited waste include but are not limited to: tires, paint, batteries, paint cans, ashes, oil, vehicle parts, sewage and sludge.
The fastest and easiest way to order a dumpster is to click on the Book Now button and complete and online order form. You’ll receive an email confirmation quickly so you’ll know you’re all set.
Our primary service area includes Belchertown, Chicopee, Granby, Hadley, Holyoke, Ludlow, West Springfield, and South Hadley. Web site prices reflect delivery to these areas. We also regularly service Agawam, East Longmeadow, Feeding Hills, Florence, Longmeadow, Monson, Northampton, Palmer, Southwick, Springfield, Westfield, Ware, and Wilbraham for a small additional fee. We also deliver to other communities throughout western, MA. Simply call 413- 537-5760 with requests beyond these towns.
No, you don’t need to be on-site/home to accept delivery. Just let us know in your online form where you would like the dumpster left on your property (the more detail, the better!), and we’ll make it happen.
Our dumpsters have back doors that open easily and safely so you can walk materials in if you wish and most efficiently pack the dumpster to get the most out of your rental.
We can place the dumpster on your property anywhere our trucks can safely drive. For homeowners, your driveway is usually the best option.
You can fill the dumpster to the top of the container; however, please do not over pack it with materials above the top. We recommend utilizing the back door of the dumpster so you can efficiently pack items in the box when you’re first getting started.

There are costs associated with “Additional Items” as these are fees charged by the Disposal Centers in accordance with Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection regulations to all dumpster rental companies including The Barnish Companies. Applicable items and there corresponding fees are as follows: Appliances $55 each; Air Conditioners $55 each; Batteries $30 each; Box Springs $125 each; Fluorescent Bulbs $4 each; Mattresses $125 each; Monitors - TV or Computers $35 each; Tires w/ Rim $30 each; Tires $25 each.
